Dreaming of skating outside in the lush London parks this summer? Want to spend your weekend on wheels, while making new friends and linking up with one of the many London skate communities?
This course is here to help you get started with outdoor skating!

This course is for you if: You are keen to skate outside but you have no clue how to even start. This course is for all of our skating friends who want to learn how to effortlessly skate on streets or parks.

This course takes place on the playground of Hackney City Academy. There are stairs, a slope, an incline, cobblestones and regular (smooth!) basketbal court available to facilitate this course in a safe environment.

  • ⚡Skating, stopping and changing direction on bumpy outdoor surfaces

    ⚡How to go on and off stairs on skates

    ⚡Skating or walking down slopes and inclines

    ⚡How to deal with curbs and steps

    ⚡Avoiding obstacles

    And any questions you might have!

  • 🌴This course is for adults only

    🌴 Jam plugs are prefered over toe stops for this course.

    🌴 Outdoor wheels are recommended for the best experience!

    🌴 This course is only suitable for roller skaters, not inline skaters.

    🌴Students will need to provide their own quad skates, and skating protection: wrist guards. elbow pads & knee pads.

    🌴 In case of rain, the session cannot go ahead an an extra one will be added at the end of the course.

    🌴The course ticket is for all dates. Every class will be held at the same time and place.
