This course is for you if: You are new to skating and want to become a strong beginner skater with great fundamental roller skating skills. Perhaps you can skate a little bit but are unsure about how to improve your technique and build confidence? This course is for you!
This course is not for you if: you have never put on your skates before. You don’t need to have spent hours on skates, but we want participants to have a little bit of balance before joining this Level 1 course. This course is for adults only (18+).
Level 1: This course teaches you solid roller skating fundamentals to make you a strong beginner skater. This course is at a faster pace and with more variations and skills than our ultimate beginner course. To ensure learning the right techniques, in this course we also revisit basic skills from our Ultimate Beginners Course. It’s all about muscle memory after all!
In our small group classes, you'll receive personalised feedback from our dedicated coaches, who are always there to cheer you on.

For some skaters, Level 1 is the progression after our Ultimate beginners course BUT You can join Level One without completing the Ultimate Beginners.

🌴This course is only suitable for roller skaters, not inline skaters.
🌴students will need to provide their own quad skates, and skating protection: wrist guards. elbow pads & knee pads.
🌴The course ticket is for all dates. Every class will be held at the same time and place.

🌴The Roller Nation party takes place on a Monday or Thursday, voted by the majority of the group. There can only be one party per group.
